I owned the One Pros for a few months before ultimately selling them. Got the best option (pros) with the hopes of using them for programming on the go. It certainly works, but I found that in nearly all situations I would just prefer using the screen on my laptop. Better image with less hassle.

Also, I don’t think I agree with your reasoning to not sign the letter. I view it as attending a digital protest. it’s about sending a message that there are a lot of us who are unhappy with DHH’s leadership. I think adding to that signal is worthwhile regardless of the fork ever actually happening

Joel how close are we to a point where yippee could be contributed to by others outside the core team of you and Stephen? I think you’re right we need an alternative framework. I bet a lot of people would wanna help build one!

Having consistent lighting at all times of day for video content is huge (I have no such place in my home haha)

This is awesome!
Is that light meant to replicate the sun shining through a window? Looks very close to me eye.

Read this as part of a book club. It didn’t quite land for me personally, mostly because the formula for each chapter became too repetitive. But we had a great discussion around it actually so I have no regrets!

You could try Writebook’s source code. Probably has a bunch of stimulus controllers in it.
This seems like an odd comparison to me (sprinkles vs reactive component framework) but I’m curious to see it regardless
