This one should show gig pictures (as long as someone uses the word gig in their post).
Have a try and pin it if you think it might be of interest, the more feed options the better I’m finding.

MY BLOODY VALENTINE
There's absolutely no question that last night was truly one of the loudest gigs that I've ever been to. It's over 30 years since I last saw them, but that was a pretty special gig.

6. Already There - The Verve
A Storm In Heaven
1993
Early Verve were the best, and this track encapsulates that feel. Delicate and sounding wide-open to then exploding out, before finishing quietly. I love this whole album, one of my favourites.

Noise annoys - but it can also be quite thrilling! Second time I’ve seen them - ear plugs inserted - they play a decibel below the legal limit. Some technical hiccups - but didn’t spoil the vibe!
“You Made Me Realise” went on for 10 minutes 💥

7. Memory Babe - The Boo Radleys
Everything's Alright Forever
1992
I had more of my top rated songs by the Boos than anyone else (13 v Slowdive 11) but opted for one from the best album in the world (IMO) which shows off their pop sensibilities within a shoegaze sound.

Voting will be open for two weeks and the final day of voting will be Sunday 14th December, for those of you sadists who like to make me sweat.
8. Roads - Portishead
Dummy
1994
Dummy was such a breath of fresh air to the music scene, I fell in love with it. This song is so beautifully sung and with the orchestration it’s perfectly put together. Reminds me of the Glasgow-Edinburgh train, attending actuarial tutorials.

As always we'd love to hear what you think will win, what you think SHOULD win, and anything we've missed that you'd pick instead!
