Shamir Shah's letter to the DCMS is another shameful chapter in capitulation to Tufton Street lobbying and foreign influence from MAGA and Trump

So Turness and Davie out but Gibb and Shah remain. Fear for the BBC because the right wing ideologues are trying to capture it entirely

Apropos of nothing, I’ve just realised that Matthew Elliott, of Young Britons Foundation, Tufton Street, and Vote Leave fame has been ennobled as the Baron of Mickle Fell. Not sure he thought that one through

Ha. Some just said these tweet was a lot of words to say 'arsehole'. So I fixed that

The richest man in the world is an ignorant, demented racist provocateur. Who would have thought

Just for context and Elon Musk’s claim of “widespread slaughter” in Europe. The per capita murder rate is EIGHT TIMES HIGHER in the US

Virginia Giuffre’s book is heartbreaking, jaw dropping, and so profound

Of course, Nobody’s Girl is a terrible portrait of the perversity, cruelty and impunity of the rich and powerful, but it’s also the most searing and honest account of abuse I’ve ever read (and I’ve read many)

Any time one of those fake foreign British nostalgia accounts starts banging on about the 50s, send them this wonderful interview with Don McCullin, and his description (familiar to me from the 70s) of how brutal London was in the 50s

Russia still considers the UK one of its prime enemies.

And what’s the best way to bring ‘Britain to its knees’ again as the former Russian Ambassador to London once boasted?

Repeat the talking points of Farage and Far right activists - key collaborators in Putin’s mission

Still over exposed, still over rated, and still over here

I’ll admit it — I hate awards, especially the self nominated ones run by media cartels (you know who I mean). But we didn’t nominate @hardeepmatharu.bsky.social for the editor’s editor in this year’s British Society of Magazine Editors Awards. But boy does she deserve it. @bylinetimes.bsky.social

By bizarre coincidence, I also got an email this weekend offering to fix incorrect Wikipedia entries — no doubt for a hefty fee. I wonder if the person who put all that false information out about Byline Times was paid a fee by their handlers?

And when I say the Press Gazette got their crazy tip off from an unknown ‘finance professional’ at exactly the same time as these erroneous ‘background’ paragraphs — I mean within two days. That PG attack dog is actually just a poodle of the press barons
October 23, 2025 at 10:38 PM
I mean this opening section is just wrong, not to say irrelevant. And why is there more on the previous owners of Byline.com (all sourced from tabloid journos and Gilligan) than Byline Times? It’s just such an obvious parallel lame hit job with the Press Gazette

Where to begin with this - everything about it is wrong

Even the Prime Minister agrees. With Gill’s Moscow invite and bribery pleas, there are clear questions for Nigel Farage and Richard Tice about what they knew — and when 12/12

This is outside the period of the eight bribery counts Gill pleaded guilty to for pushing pro-Russia lines while an MEP, and goes beyond the Ukrainian circle of Oleh Voloshyn, Nadia Borodi and Viktor Medvedchuk - straight to Russia and a Kremlin-backed event two years later 6/12

Gill’s planned talk at the vast Moscow summit with over 250 core participants from 35 countries: “The Same Technology That Gives Us Crypto Currencies Also Will Change the Way That We Vote.” A pitch on crypto’s role in elections 5/12

To all you patriots (and UK authorities)

Is this not political interference of the most egregious and socially divisive kind?
October 14, 2025 at 9:16 AM
This goes even higher up. Forget Medvedchuk. Forget Medvedev

According to former Brexit Party MEP and defected Reform MP Rupert Lowe, the individuals at Gill's meetings claimed to be "close to Putin"
October 13, 2025 at 12:03 PM
So it now appears the woman Farage and Gill were so close to has a direct link not only to Putin’s “Man in Ukraine” Medvedchuk, but his predecessor as President, Medvedev

These are top Russian agents.

Most people seem to have missed who retweeted this picture of Farage in Gill’s office a few days after Gill began receiving his first bribes from Oleh Voloshyn (Oleg Voloshin). None other than…
