Some nice games of @onepagerules.bsky.social - Grimdark Future: Firefight at my local game store (The Gaming Co. in Pikeville, KY)

Was a lot of fun, and always surprised how quickly new players pick up the game.

One of the big projects I had to do for #gencon was paint an entire Grimdark Future Saurian Starhost army for the @onepagerules.bsky.social booth!

And got my rooms booked for #adepticon 2026! Super excited to go back next year!

Seems like I just live in Convention Hotels these days. :D

I love my bookmark. It’s especially funny when I use it to read super serious books.

Hat tip to @tylerjameshill.com for letting me know such a bookmark (and socks!) exist.

I'm almost ashamed that one of the main reasons I want to lose a little bit of weight is to enjoy shopping again. I'm /just/ past the sizes normally stocked in most mall stores... and it's depressing seeing a cool new T-Shirt and knowing I can't wear it.

My convention schedule is getting crowded.
- GAMA in February
- AdeptiCon in March

Running crowdfunding campaigns is exhausting. I'm thankful for all the support from our partners and my team, but gosh it is a lot of pressure and I get nervous every single time I have to hit the 'go' button. Thankfully the audience has come through each time.

In the span of a few weeks I got to go to a local ren fair, and then fly across the world to go to Carcassonne, a real medieval city and castle... and while the set dressing for Carcassonne was the winner hands down... the vibes were very similar. And I met cool people at each.

Another success in learning how to cook! Brown Butter Miso Udon!

Very tasty. But I guess any recipe that starts with 2 lbs of bacon and a stick of butter would. :D

Steam has done so much for the Linux community that it is unreal. Using my Steam Deck daily - hardly ever notice that these apps aren't just native. The performance on them is nuts compared to what I'd get converting it to a Windows box.

And Windows needs competition to keep it honest.

I was lucky enough to also play with these at Spiel and bring a set home. It makes painting minis feel like using a coloring book. Super low stress. Love em.

A few months ago I designed a handheld dice roller powered by a #RaspberryPi pico for my friend who is losing his eyesight. It features braille buttons and a number of features such as dice pool saving, different modes and quiet mode.

Proud to say it was featured in MagPi. 😁

Whelp, working late on a project on the weekend... being responsible and saving often - backing up files.

Then Windows (I think One Drive, specifically) decides that nah, it will just permanently delete EVERY FILE I was working on all night. And now I have to start over.
