Can all my London friends please inform all of your US friends that London is perfectly safe and infact, as Sir Mark Rowley has stated "The homicide rate in London is lower than every single US state. It’s lower than all their big cities" 🤦

I wrote in a previous post that I intend to walk more, and I've kept up that intention. Sometimes I have the inclination to go further and walk longer. Today I decided to stay very near to home. I live close to an English seaside town on the north-east coast. Make of that what you will. There are no palm trees and the water is never warm, but it's magnificent nonetheless.

The more often I see NPM malware coming in, the more driven I am to move away from build processes and even React as a framework for working on WordPress. (Because coding with it needs an NPM build process.)

Tr*mp reckons that Mamdami is a “communist”. Superficial online research says, “rule by communist parties has often led to totalitarianism, political repression, restrictions of human rights, poor economic performance, and cultural and artistic censorship.” How is that different to Tr*mp's goals?

“Writing things down isn't just for remembering things. It's for forgetting them”. A lesson that I learned later in my career, that would've been useful much earlier. One of Ross' great 25 lessons, about which he presented @loopconf.com.
Oh, yay! I didn’t think my LoopConf talk recording was going to be free to watch. But it’s out on YouTube.

This was an epic labour of love. I’m so glad I can share it with you.
