Also very funny to put this image on the same page. Unclear why "consistent patterns of fenestration" make these buildings good, but don't make the slab apartments in the previous post good.

This guideline is from Ottawa (similar exist in Toronto).

The city's highrise guidelines offer *zero* consideration for residents of high rises and only consider the pedestrian experience of these buildings, which is insane.

@transit.app

Your email "contact us" button in the app is *still broken*. It's been like this for a year now.

It opens the email window and auto inserts "info [email protected]" with a space between info and en.

The CN North America map logo that just looks like engine fire scarring.

(The rest of the scheme is fine)

I'm skeptical that there's no space for buses lanes tho:

This person is speaking nonsense. What do you mean "just convert an alleyway into a road"?
November 17, 2025 at 12:53 PM
Why the city continues to entertain these stupid and obviously bad faith arguments is beyond me.
November 17, 2025 at 12:43 PM
Dear @transit.app, in what world are these two trips comparable enough that you would group them together like this.

It's a meatball night.

Yeah sure, that seems like a viable alternative lmao

Absolutely crazy numbers. 1.6 million doors knocked!

But with only 2.1 million total votes cast... Woof. People really hate voting in municipal elections.

Do I not understand what these words mean

MRH has fallen 😭
November 3, 2025 at 1:12 PM
Why? Why is it telling me to walk 5 minutes to Elgin instead of using the stop I'm literally standing at
November 2, 2025 at 8:32 PM
Yes, the city's sidewalk standards were updated a couple years ago. They call these "Ramp Style" sidewalks, and they prefer them because they don't fill up with water and ice the way the Traditional Style does. I personally don't like the ramps, makes the walking surface too narrow.

Bold of the author to claim a bond statement is incomprehensible after writing this opening paragraph.

We've figured it out!

It's very hard to take these complaints seriously. Are there no schools in Stittsville? Why would we make any kind of policy or infrastructure decisions to convenience this kind of behavior?
