However, I do get why they can't do the Ancient dragons as MH re-skins since it's technically a D&D creature already

Hmmmm, maybe Dalamadur as... Koma? It's about the only gigantic serpent I can think of. The others are definitely tougher since they have really specific designs.
Ahtal-Ka would go INSANE, but idk if we have any giant mantis creatures that become mecha vehicles xD

I was originally thinking of Silver Rathalos but Kushala makes sooo much more sense, especially with the legendary treatment!
Fun fact, when I originally fought him in MHFU I timed out like FIVE times cus I didn't get how Wind Press worked. I got so frustrated I just laid on the floor and cried. XD

I Ioveee the Palicos! I always named mine Tibbers after my cat. He passed away shortly after Wilds came out, but he still comes on the hunt with me 💖

I personally didn't hate it either! I really liked the art and some of the card choices but a lot of people felt it fell short of expectations. Most MonHun folks were hoping for more equipment, more focus on the monsters, etc. Also there was a minor spelling error (Kokoto vs Kotoko) to be corrected.

Extreme respect for this decision. I've been a fan of Monster Hunter since 2009, and it's a series REALLY near and dear to a lot of folks. There's a ton of lore, monsters, and games to cover, and we really appreciate the effort being made to get just right.

I'm honestly super happy to see this! The previous version was neat, the art was nice and all but I didn't feel like it had a lot of faith to the spirit of MonHun, or represented the card analogues well.
...I have a feeling the MH vorthos-es absolutely got after them for "Kotoko" vs KOKOTO. ^^;
