It sounds scary but I'm SUPER EXCITED to finally have some answers and a path forward after a lifetime of respiratory shitty-ness. :))
My other chronic illness baddies know how MADDENING it is to be told for years that nothing is wrong, until you finally see a doctor that figures out the issue lmao

Update: Had an appt with an ENT specialist today! The tl;dr:
My sinuses AND nose structure are both kinda wonky (thanks genetics), so in a few months they'll be surgically fixing my deviated septum, reducing a part of my sinuses, and rebuilding the cartilage support structure of my nose 🫠

It's the main reason my Astelli Reclaimer wasn't fully done for Atlanta, I missed out on over 6 weeks of working on it due to illness. :<

Today I got approved for an outpatient surgery on my sinuses that very well may fix all of that! :3 it won't be for a while, but I'm very hopeful 💖 [2/2]

My local pinball arcade has a Killer Queen cab and I'm feeling a new hyperfixation on the horizon :)) Some of the guys I was playing with last night are like... top ranked competitive players?? They invited me to a weekly Killer Queen league night, and they were training me to be a MONSTER HEHE 🐝💖

I've had chronic respiratory issues since I was a kid -- persistent sinus infections, chronic bronchitis, and a near-constant cough -- and it's taken a lot of things away from me. I've had to miss classes, cons, call off work, and many times miss seeing my friends. [1/2]
