UNA-UK calls for an immediate end to the war precipitated by Israel’s attack on Iran and an urgent resumption of multilateral diplomacy.
The UK should make clear it will not enter this war, and must work to implement a ceasefire and return the nuclear issue to the negotiating table.

In the Chamber today I challenged the govt’s so called “defence” spending plan—a whopping £15 billion on nuclear weapons that must never be used.
That money could be used to deliver real security: affordable housing, strong public services, climate resilience, and pandemic preparedness.

Nuclear weapons make the world more dangerous. But Labour plans to spend £15bn on new nuclear warheads: weapons that must never be used, and that should be as unacceptable as biological and chemical weapons. The govt should invest in real security instead. #SDR
