I think there is an undercurrent of Italian futurism (Marinetti) at play here as well - reckoning with what changing technology hath wrought, and also like wanting to burn down the museums/cultural institutions - though in service of whiteness rather than dynamism/youth.

Baseball, The War, Jazz, National Parks are all great; Civil War has some blinspots, but is still worth watching. Really dug Horatio's Drive (great one shot), and Brooklyn Bridge holds up. #KenBurnsAmericanRevolution #HATM
