Hello, Bluesky Community!
How much time does it take for experienced programmer to start write in Rust? Hi

Solid move from @atproto.com team! The next step is to help the founders grow their products with transparent funding
We just released Tap, a tool designed to handle the hard parts of repo synchronization, so you can focus on building your application.

It's now easier than ever to stay up to date with Atmosphere records for dev, data analysis, or any other task at hand!

Introducing Tap: Repository Synchronization Made Simple | Bluesky
Just about every app built on AT needs data from a repository at some point. For many use cases – feed generators, labelers, bots – streaming live data through a Relay or Jetstream works well. But som...

Hi, @xenova.bsky.social. I have several quesitons. Have you tried to run Transformers.js in @deno.land with WebGPU? Is it possible to do? Is there some fast method to check this, like tiny model or a test?

Good news: #JavaScript is 30 years old today!
Sad news: Its own name is still doesn't belong to it

Hey @tangled.org. This is a long wanted feature: I don't want to fork repositories to make minor changes. I want to edit in-place and to store changes where they belong – in the target project or forks tab. Not in "my projects" #dx #git #tangled

Hi @feross.bsky.social. Can you check the proposal of @electronjs.org to change the installation steps. Could it harden the checks for security tools like @socket.dev?

github.com/electron/rfc...

In a few words, they want to download and install Electron on the first run. Not on install step
rfc: lazy electron download, remove postinstall by MarshallOfSound · Pull Request #22 · electron/rfcs
Raising this as an RFC mostly because I want to be sure I haven't missed something obvious but also I don't super have the time to do it so hopefully this sketches out a nice win that someo...

I've collected so much critics on the @bun.sh post on Reddit, several days before. I wanted to post this stat a long ago. Seems like perfect timing to me

www.reddit.com/r/javascript...
‘Instead of putting our users & community through "Bun, the VC-backed startups tries to figure out monetization" – thanks to Anthropic, we can skip that chapter entirely and focus on building the best JavaScript tooling.’

Bun is joining Anthropic
Bun has been acquired by Anthropic. Anthropic is betting on Bun as the infrastructure powering Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and future AI coding products & tools.

Super useful product feature to simplify first touch with an app, which I appreciate. Thoughtful and bold move for Leaflet and #atproto. Kudos to the Leaflet product team!
New: *Looseleaf* publishing — a way to publish standalone Leaflets on AT Protocol! 📝🍃

We started with publications on atproto; now we're bringing it all together so _anything_ you write on Leaflet, incl single documents / posts, can be 'atprotated' :)

Feature Spam • #ai dictionary

When a product owner or developer is publishing too much product features, more then users can learn, it's called a feature spam
This is a result of AI tools development. AI allows to publish new features on a daily basis

As a person who learned #programming on their own by online lessons. I want to tell thank to every person who are doing free #education videos and articles. It's invaluable. Thanks to all of you!

Some can argue that AI is too energy consuming. But this is an indicator of all the deficit of intellectual work we still have. This is an indicator of how many excessive, repetitive work people are doing today, instead of making really valuable work

This is what a new era birth looks like.

I've seen another super thoughtful and useful code project. It is two days old ai-built programming library. And zero interest in learning or starring it. What a good time! No one would care about your code anymore. Only the product matters

I've just created a development account. Posted technical message. And just immediately I received a like from a random person. Definitely an automated stuff. It's a spam and it's not good for the ecosystem

How can users report this behavior? Is it a weak point of #atproto
November 12, 2025 at 9:44 AM
Hey @bsky.app, @pfrazee.com! I want to create a development account. It's purely technical. It doesn't have birthday and I want it to be controlled by my main account without the need to manage passwords. I even don't need new mailbox for it (unless I really need it). Moreover...

#atprotodev if there are two competing ATProto services, what stops one migrating/deleting all the records of the other in your PDS?

ie. Are ATProto apps, by default, scoped to the records of their own lexicons?

Only problem with #atproto right now is probably the scary-looking auth screen, which is like you'll allow site access to everything. Wonder when we'll see more granular scopes.

Hey, devs! What encoding does #ATProto use? Is it JSON, CBOR, Protobuf, something else?
