Sometimes I sit around the apartment in one of these undershirts and it makes me feel like a guy who bangs on his TV because the reception is messed up from people fighting aliens upstairs or whatever

I'm moving furniture around and discovered this discrete charging block, still plugged in. I started charging things at my desk instead of leaving them on top of the bookshelf and then forgot I'd ever done this.

Overall I'm happy with it. I'll probably use it for experiments like double exposures or shooting texture closeups. It'll be a good toy camera for playing with weird/expired film.
And I look forward to comparing it to this other kit I just ordered off ebay.

The macro lens was more powerful than I expected. I couldn't seem to get it completely focused but that might just be because the viewfinder is difficult to use in low light.

It also comes with a closeup lens and a macro lens. The closeup lens is pretty good and it does that trendy circle distortion thing to the background.

There's nothing to stop you from doing double exposures. I forgot to advance the film a few times.
Intentionally playing with double exposure would probably be the best use case for this thing.

I only have 15 shots from my 24 shot roll because the winding knob felt jammed and I had to open the back. Later I figured out how to un-jam without opening. This is the best 'normal' picture I took.

I could write an essay about all the relevant design decisions but it's not like that feedback would be seen by anyone about to design another mechanical DIY kit so I'll just show you the completed camera.
