I had a Loretta’s NW tavern burger on Saturday for the first time since before 2020, and it really is the perfect bar burger.
In 2018 Thrillist named it the 4th best burger in the country.

The issue is one of supply, but simply because we haven’t built enough housing where people want to live for 30-40 years.
I’m not saying getting institutional owners out of SFH wouldn’t be good, it just would make a tiny difference in housing costs.

A reminder that parking in every American city is absurdly underpriced and we are all subsidizing the people who choose to drive to the most transit-connected neighborhood in the city.
