Isn’t this incredible. The oldest living tree in the world. Over 5000 years old. Mind boggling.

Woke up at 3am. I was wide awake for hours. Managed to doze off around 6:30-ish and now I’m too knackered to get out of bed. It’ll be one of those days again.

Atmospheric out. Cold and misty. The birds seemed happy though.

My god, that wind is icy!

Then again, I have a friend that lives in Finland who would no doubt tell me to man-up. It was -27 there the other day. He was complaining that there wasn’t enough snow for skiing. Sod that!🥶

And a dreadful thing from the cliff did spring.
Its wild bark thrill'd around:
And a fiendish glow flash'd forth I trow,
From the eyes of the Specral Hound

Nobody warned me when I got past 50 that plucking eyebrows would become a daily occurrence. I thought I’d given up gardening, moving into this flat, yet here I am with a rampant privet hedge over each eye.

The ghost is more than narrow label of dead spirit. Lore is rich with tales of spectral objects. What should we make of phantom buildings? Ashcourt's St. Wulfram-of-the-Wall ended its life in Blitz bombs, yet many report ruin reverting to former glories to haunt the now. – #CJosiffe, 1982

Started rewatching Only Fools And Horses from the very first episode the other day. Currently halfway through the 3rd series and it’s so easy to see why it’s held up as an all-time great. Full of heart and pathos. What the hell happened to all our great sitcoms? Seem to be a thing of the past.
