I just want to highlight this particular sentence because if you have even a tiny bit of knowledge about American foreign policy over the last - *checks notes* - forever or so the hypocrisy is breathtaking. Of course, to paraphrase Orwell, the hypocrisy is not accidental.

As I slowly try to find people on here, I figured my first post should be a picture of the beagle my partner and I rescued 2.5 years ago. This is from shortly after Lucy came home. She's not quite so skinny and even whiter around the face now, but still half-asleep on the couch most of the time.
