Did a weird color experiment on the kobold team. I didn’t want to paint the incredibly tiny details on here. I think it came out well and was also super fast! One copper base coat, gold dry brush, red wash, voila. Oh also these are polymorphed chromatic dragons so watch out. #miniatures #dnd

And now Eupatorium perfoliatum [common boneset//boneset]. Also known as agueweed, feverwort, or swearing plant, this has been used by indigenous Americans to induce sweating to break fevers. The common name comes from its use treating dengue, also known as “break-bone fever.”

Here we have Physocarpus opulifolius [common ninebark//eastern ninebark//Atlantic ninebark//ninebark]. The bark peels off in small strips resembling the number 9, hence its common names. It is a host to several moth larvae.
Small clusters of pink and white flowers pop out among green, lobed leaves. Some decking appears beneath the plant.

Hotel bathroom engineers really cutting it close.

Here we have a Epitheca princeps [Prince Baskettail] larva I netted back in June of 2020. This critter eventually metamorphoses into a dragonfly.
