2. Kent is a wildcard. He's extremely borderline to me, but "most homers by a second basemen" is an extremely sexy thing to the types who usually are on the committee.
3. If Kent gets in on a ballot that Bonds doesn't, the whole thing is a joke (and it kind of feels like the HOF is trolling).
