The Spurs Women are on a positive path. That is great to see and we don't want to see their progress stalled.
However, if Vinai was involved in sacking Ange and hiring Frank, there should be consequences for the CEO. He knows that.

Merry Christmas mate.
Enjoy the book.

Yes I think you are right. Micky and other young players were going to progress anyway. But so many quality players have lost confidence.

Every Spurs fan should have a copy. A record of a season like no other. From the depths of the injury crisis to glory in Bilbao.

How many players have genuinely progressed this season? Probably Van der Ven but I can't think of any others.

A quote from Deki in Tom Barclay's excellent book "Miracle in Bilboa".
They played for Ange because he believed in them.
Even in the depth of the injury crisis in January 2025, the Spurs players still had belief in their manager.
Before the Elfsborg game, Deki was asked whether Ange was the right man for the job.
“We had games when we showed perfect football. Football that not many teams can play in the world….

I actually really feel for these Spurs players.
The Club sacked their manager who really believed in them and helped them find belief in themselves.
Now Spurs fans are turning on the players.
The vibe of that victory parade seems a distant memory.

Fair enough Hannah.
I'm sure you are aware that most of our 1st team players were out injured when those losses were recorded.
Some of our young players did an amazing job under extreme circumstances.
November 30, 2025 at 9:56 AM
Hannah, you think we think these players are alot better than they actually are?
You saw these players win the EL🏆 They also had wins over City (4-0), Liverpool (1-0), Villa (4-1), etc.
Virtually the 2nd 11 were narrowly defeated by Arsenal (2-1).
I think our players are actually very good.

With respect Roberto, I do not agree that Ange was a business risk.
He always had the support of the players - even at the depth of the injury crisis. And won trophies at both Club and national level.
The business risk was not investing in squad depth and backing Ange in the transfer market.

Alen is 100% correct.
Football has so much potential in Australia. Yet so often, all we do is criticise what we have. Alen is a passionate advocate for the game - and a terrific manager as well.

We played beautiful games against United, against City 4-0, so I think he is the right man. We play for him. We want to win for him and we have similar ideas. I have to fight for him because I believe in that football too. Yes I think he is the right man”

Milo, I don’t know whether any of those names would be as effective as the obvious choice.
Why doesn’t the Board just admit they got it completely wrong to sack Ange?
The players trust and respect him. Spurs can start playing the football we want to see. The defence would at least be organised.
November 30, 2025 at 3:16 AM
Fairly sure we had that with the previous manager. In hindsight, a very costly decision to let him go.
November 30, 2025 at 3:01 AM
I honestly think he will coach Liverpool sometime in the next decade.
November 27, 2025 at 11:47 AM
Agreed.
We need to see TF getting tactical and selection decisions right in the next few games.
I actually feel for the players. At times, they just look lost and confused.
November 27, 2025 at 11:36 AM
I agree Hal.
Enjoyable game of football. Young players added energy. Bergvall, Gray and Sarr should be getting more game time in PL. Defence still looks very disorganised to me.
Let's wait to see some consistent improvements before we say it's a turning point.

Inexplicable maybe 🤔
