Increasingly ticked-off Canadian. Straight but not narrow. Fascinated by astronomy, music, and our canine companions. Unhealthily obsessed with the Chicago Cubs. Pro Oxford Comma. He/him.
That’s on me, folks. Just got home and put the game on. My bad.

May I recommend “Stranger Than Fiction” for a similar Will Ferrell experience?

Honestly, the details aren’t nearly as important as the principle: my vote should be determined by who I want to support, not who I want to oppose.

Would be better than what we have now.

Not sure that solves it. You’d still get people saying “Don’t vote for Candidate A. Candidate B is the only one that can beat Candidate C.”

FPTP gives incentives for parties (or candidates) to vote to stop another from winning. The incentives should be to support your party or candidate.

It’d be cool to have an electoral system where the parties campaigned to get you to vote FOR them, and not AGAINST the other candidates.

I remember that from the 1970s! (It was slightly larger and light bulbs were white)

Wasn't there some story about when the guy who had the place finally left, the new tenants had to agree to keep doing the sign?
