I do, @zairenzu.bsky.social I'm in Canada.
If you can't go out to get your library card, library websites have a form you can use to designate a friend to get it.
Just a photo ID (health care card) is enough, or other ID + utilities bill or government letter or rental agreement or CNIB card.

Very practical & good-looking sweaters!
Terrific technology awareness among Cowichan people in 1860: wool-using women reverse-engineering sweaters & tool-making men designing new styles of spinning wheel, with a spinner that later was fitted to sewing machines.

When he was 5, my spouse fell down his grandparents' stairs and was laid out on the table, head-to-head with the turkey, so he could be inspected for injury.
He still has the scar winding through his scalp, sixty years later.

It's not a food-related coating, but one of my offspring coated himself in his grandmother's expensive skin cream (not the vaseline right next to it!) and sprinkled dusty dirt all over himself to look like a Wild Boy.

If something expands to the point that it ruptures and makes a noise audible at any kind of distance, you get to say it exploded. I studied to be an engineer, and I know my explosions.

Ukrainian sausage, like many sausages from Eastern Europe, is really good pan-fried; where it is truly excellent is when you cut it in thick slices long as your thumb and stack them over cut chunks of potato in a pan for baking in the oven. This baking is spectacularly good for Mennonite sausage.

My favourite @cryptidchicken.bsky.social story is the story of the yard sale where the lawyers arrive.

My brother used to keep old pizza boxes so when he went out, he'd put one on the floor for the dogs to tear apart. Happy dogs.
