A rather new framing for EU enlargement - not only with a focus on security (that has been there for a while), to be gained not primarily by exporting EU stability but by importing military strength into the EU.

Starting today, Romania drops its price ceiling for electricity. This means energy bills will significantly go up; rising inflation; lower purchasing power. Moldova too will be affected by this, since Chisinau buys electricity on the Romanian market
