I'll keep repeating it til' I'm blue in the face - making comics is actually an exceptionally difficult task. I'm quick as hell but each page I draw represents about 10-20 hours of work from writing to final output. I deserve to be paid for that work.

Honestly, people calling creators the "petite bourgeoisie" makes me want to snap.

Mi compañera de trabajo empezó en marzo, tiene un niño de 2 años. El pobre ha estado enfermo el 50% del tiempo. Su pareja, un treintañero #majodetrato, blanco centroeuropeo, probablemente progresista, tiene el mismo derecho que ella a permisos por hijo enfermo.
Ha tomado CERO días.

El desentendimiento por parte de los hombres de los cuidados y las tareas domésticas son de por sí formas de reproducción de la opresión patriarcal y de maltrato contra las mujeres; son formas de violencia sutil más presentes a estas alturas de lo que pudiera parecer o quisiéramos creer.

I choose IT because my family wanted me to study a math/science career, years later I did an illustration course bc I wanted to be an artist before turning 40, and lastly I did animation two years ago bc my drawing wasn't improving anymore and AI was making everything more difficult.
