follow at your own risk. I'm far left, & a contrarian, and I don't curate my opinions to attract followers -- I just express them.. And for those who accuse me of being a Trump supporter, etc, read this https://www.salon.com/2004/09/09/bush_guard_duty
I was able to get only half way through it, before all I could think was "to the privileged, equality feels like oppression".

the I looked at what Compact was offering elsewhere, and here is what I found..

He was completely inept POLITICALLY.

from the moment he took officehis approval started dropping, and once the Afghanistan withdrawal happened, it never got above 45% -- because he lacked the POLITICAL understanding and skills needed in the 21st century.

excellent piece -- although I disagree that tariffs as a derivative of embargo powers are "intuitively" appealing, because (as you make clear) tariff's put pressure on the importer, not the government of the exporting country.

Really, I had no idea.

Actually, I wrote THIS in response to a piece telling the world that the GOP House had no interest in voting on ACA subsidies...

1/ which is why Nachmanoff needs to ask Bondi directly if she intends to use 18 USC 3288 before ruling that his case is now moot

That law allows subsequent indictments six months after an original indictment has been quashed -- BUT -- only if prosecution is not barred "for some other reason"

except (and this is REALLY funny) there is no "3" in the first one.

There are just two "2"s

1/ Anna, did you notice that the original 3 count indictment that was filed doesn't have a "Count three" but actually two Count Two"s?

Count One consists of paragraphs 1,2, and 3

the first Count Two consists of paragraphs 4, 5 and 6

the second Count Two consists of paragraphs 4 and 5.

Everything having anything to do with Trump will be withheld on grounds of "national security". I mean, we can't have the world know that the serving US President diddled underaged girls -- our creidibility is at stake!

3. was handed down, because it says that a summons has been/was being requested.

in other words, the cover sheet is inconsistent with the indictment itself. Doesn't this raise its own questions?
November 18, 2025 at 2:14 PM
2/ Is this legit? What possible explanation could there be for this kind of thing?

also, on the "criminal case cover sheet", it indicates that Comey has been indicted on three counts, not just the two. (I assume that this cover sheet was ostensibly created AFTER the indictment
November 18, 2025 at 2:14 PM
1/ a couple of questions -- re the "two bill" issue...

the "no indictment" issue has a handwritten addition which says "count 1 only", making the sentence read that the grand jury "did not concur in in this case".

1) who brings plastic pistols as gifts for national security officials

2) who is stupid enough not to check with a protocol officer to make sure that the gifts could be accepted?

Fun fact. There were only about 103,000 overdose deaths in the US in 2023. Bur Trump says each sunken boat saves 25,000 American lives.

having sunk 14 boats so far, that adds up to 300,000 lives saved -- or about 3 times the annual over dose deaths per year.
