Hot take. The avatar films haven't broken into the pop culture zeitgeist because they're too long. It makes a rewatch laborious. Same issue with the Dune films (though not quite as long and more interesting narratively).

I hope Connolly can be a modern Mary Robinson. Humanitarian in her actions and a voice for change. Could she give more weight to left leaning parties for the next GE? 🤔

Tipula maxima is the largest cranefly in Ireland, and when you see it in real life, you know why. It is so big, with a leg span of up to 10cm! It also has heavily patterned wings. The sharp bit at the end of the abdomen is just an ovipositor and not a sting.
