As a Mom, I totally agree. It seems we would always forgive our kids, no matter the age of "the child". She knew how much you loved her and how you wanted her to stay. But, like all times she had to go somewhere, she had to leave. Hugs...

BTW, I had such a great time the first semester at college! OMG, I ended up with a 1.1 accum. But, a learning experience for when I became a parent. ha,ha. Surprise, kids are immature. Second, for myself, What? The mean girl in HS was wrong about everything. My social life was fun even with curfews.

I'm 77 and I remember this..then remembered it with daughters..and now, onto Granddaughters. I will say, once all "escaped" HS and, for my daughters, college away from home, town, new people, be who you want to be, etc. Don't have to go to college, just get away..work, whatever. You're not labeled.

Wow, the "scary" ANTIFA word!! Why don't they ask what does ANTIFA stand for & why, now would being Anti-fascist make one a "terrorist"? I would suggest that there are WWII heroes honored and buried in France, Arlington and home towns across the country. My Father & my friends' Fathers, Antifa!

I remember houses..Even an ex-husbands Grandmother's. I loved her. I remember her home and all things besides smell..like coke in the little single bottles.

I have had my Grands tell me they like the way I smell..and then, on a family trip, one of them told their Mom, my daughter, Nanny went to breakfast already, I can tell she used this elevator. Ha, ha. Good that they don't think I stink.ha,ha.

I did get a selfie. I like to send to my NNY friends because they see the temp here and it seems OK. I lived on the border not far from St.Lawrence Seaway and my field office was the N.ADKs and north to border. Huge St. Lawrence County. Out and about..but this wind off the water? Now, a wimp.
