😂😂 I could never do fine dining at a Michelin restaurant. I would feel really short changed with so much of the plate still visible. I want the surface covered with food.

So frustrating. Often seems to work out that way.

But not necessarily in that order 😂

It takes time to adjust and certainly more than a year. In many ways it's about learning to live with/around the hole they leave behind. Be kind and gentle to yourself and don't expect too much too soon.

When is the move taking place?

You can be mad because rudeness is calculated and hurtful. I don't know what's become of many of us; that we are seemingly incapable of declining or saying no to something/someone without being brutal or offensive. Even if we have a past grievance, is it really necessary to go into assault mode?

I think it's a very sensible thing to do. Get your wishes recorded and remove any ambiguity about services, religious or non-religious elements, cremation or burial. If it's all pre-arranged there can be no doubt about your wishes and future costs. I intend to do the same in the near future.

My experience too. The people who are able to reliably dedicate time are generally beyond retirement age. Working age volunteers are constantly struggling against the demands of employment, economics and family life. Diary pressures are the #1 reason why people leave volunteering.

I'm very good at restraint. 😂

Probably all made on the cheap too in an Asian sweat shop.
