I honestly don't know why some people have a problem with wind turbines. I find it strangely soothing to see them quietly turn. This is the view over the open landscape of Lincolnshire right now. Ideal for producing lots of green energy.

My Dad was in the "Merch" so the Red Ensign holds a certain significance to me.
Flags mean something bigger & better than shrill nationalism. For me, this flag honours merchant seafarers who brave violent storms to keep us supplied.. who sailed during war so we didn't starve.

Applies to people of all political persuasions and ideologies too. I'm afraid those of us on the liberal/left side cannot claim the higher ground. In recent months I have heard and read comments from all sides that are, at best, a distortion and at worse completely untrue.
