Never forget that Hitler was an admirer of Jim Crow laws, and of Henry Ford, and Charles Lindbergh, and of the KKK film "The Birth of a Nation". The connections were there, but perhaps the other way around from what people would expect: Hitler learned from the US and implemented in Germany.
