If one of these streaming services would index all the others, and send me to them if they have the show I want, that would quickly become my default viewing starting point. Seems to me that would have a lot of value for them. I'd even probably pay more for that service than for the others.

The HIDS act, which was already better than the current US system, passed in 1957 and was adopted by all provinces by the start of 1961.
It is irrelevant that some provinces had universal health care before this.

And that’s only if the government healthcare were no cheaper than the for-profit insurance, which it definitely would be, because it is everywhere else.

Yes. We pay that in Canada, and folks obviously whine about taxes, but yeah, people are ok with taxes going to healthcare.

I always thought the song was about a kid being bullied by other kids, but the adults modelled better behaviour by finding a way for him to feel like he belongs.

I think you're attributing sentiments to a group that isn't a group.

It's not a team sport. This is quite an achievement, but he's also done some pretty crappy things lately, and folks are entitled to point that out.

I think most Trump supporters get their "news" from sources that don't report most of the worst of what his administration does. I think it's fully possible a significant subset of these people legit don't know how awful he is.
