The first half of the thread before the block. Not going to individually do alt text because this is our posterity and I dont care for this to pop up in text searches. Second image alt text has a tiny bit more info. Third T, myself, Third T, and myself before a block. The last post on this thread was about them being solely focused on women, how that harms Trans and Cis Men who are affected by these issues, and how it absolutely leaves out NBi and Intersex folks from the discussion by focusing solely on women as the gotcha. My very last post (not this thread) was, "And on that note, plenty of men (cis & Trans) are forced into marriage because of these same privileges only granted to those who are married. Aro and ace folks dont receive any protections when they remain unmarried and gay couples who couldnt/can't marry feel these same pressures."

I'm going to add, as I reread the intro, you mention more ace identities (graysexual, demisexual, asexual) & only aromantic for aro rep

You have blindspots to address. The onus for a lack of submissions is indicative of that as a larger pattern

+ a-spec doesn't stand for ace-spec it's ace+aro spec
A snippet of the intro for aces and aros; the speech bubbles specifically says "you're holding a copy of that book full of ace stories, ace characters, and aspec creators" which is accurate as a-spec stands for aro and ace spectrum, but as stated in a previous comic bubble, they specifically have coopted aspec to specifically stand for ace-spec instead of the full umbrella term. Additionally the next speech bubble says "stories of asexuals, aromantics, gray aces, demisexuals, the sex repulsed, the queerplatonic, and the kinky" which is several ace identities and a bare mention of aromantic because all the aromantic characters are also ace in the comic. As an example there is also gray-romantic and demi-romantic and more identities like lithromantic and more.

kittenscratches tumblr post: So recently saw this post about a video where a woman is saying "trans men are men because this one trans man yapped at me for ages about a history topic I didn't ask about" and while that post does bring up really good points ("is it mansplaining or is it just a man talking about a topic you aren't interested in"), I'd like to point out how this is actually one of the functions of transandrophobia. It takes a very neutral behaviour - talking at length about a topic of interest - and, because of our gender identity as men or masculine, it takes that behaviour and turns it into something seen as "annoying" or cringe" and demonises it as a specifically male behaviour. It's malgendering as well,"trans men really are men because they re doing this thingl perceive as negatively associated with cis men." There is something to say about how, within the context of the video, it didn't seem like the actual dude was "mansplaining"- which is a real misogynistic behaviour. But the post linked talks about that in depth, so l'll only briefly touch on it here. There is a difference between talking down to someone you perceive as less knowledgeable (in the case of mansplaining, men talking down to women because they see them as unintelligent due to misogyny, especially about a subject the woman does have an understanding of), and just talking at length about a topic that someone isn't interested in. The latter, of course, gets twisted into misogynistic and annoying/cringe behavior literally due to the person's gender identity. And of course, all that is to say, actually, maybe you should let trans men speak because we are more erased and invisible than even cis women. Why are you (person in the video), as a cis person, putting negative gender stereotypes onto a trans person? #transandrophobia #anti transmasculinity f3mtguy tumblr post: people: "If men could get pregnant/have periods then.." trans men: "hey, we get what you're trying to say, but could you add one single three letter word (cis) in front of it so you're not further erasing a hyperinvisible and erased group of people?" people: "Oh my god, you know what we mean." Laws that talk about trans youth are very often about "saving young girls, preventing mutilation, and preserving fertility." These laws are made to keep us from existing in the first place We are erased medically as well. Denied fertility and reproductive care because "men don't have uteruses" We are erased when people in our community don't listen to us or talk about us. When we are told to be silent and to shut up, we are not invisible. We are being silenced. Invisibility implies a state of being that we embody rather than acknowledge the Verb that it is. We are Made invisible. It is an Act against us. We are Actively Erased and excluded. From statistics, from discussions, from the news, from support networks. You can see the violence of it plainly in the reactions to our voices. How angry people get when we demand to be heard and seen and talked about. To be acknowledged. Not every Trans person is perisex.

AGAB doesn't indicate anything about a person's organs, hormone balance, or what socially enforced gender biases they face.
