Christmas time but I still wanted the 4 year old to have a Christmas magic in her home because she specifically asked for a tree for Christmas…)

I’m sorry man that’s so hard and very relatable. Very much still have a similar feeling with my family and at work, though it’s gotten better over time. But it’s exhausting and I just feel so visible and naked all the time in these spaces.

Flashing back to the first year of parenthood when I could never correctly produce the word for high chair, stroller, or car seat in the correct context and would have to pick one of the others and clarify “for the car” or “for eating” or “for walks”
