It’s very good to have family that is putting in effort and trying. At the same time it’s so exhausting and difficult to be around people who are putting in a tremendous amount of effort just to be mostly normal around you.

Saw a paramedic yesterday with a large “Isaiah 6:8” tattoo across their whole forearm that had been crossed out (the crossing out was clearly a newer tattoo over the original) and I just have so many questions. I want to know everything.

The other day one of the techs at work came out of my patients rooms and said “all of your patients are so good about your pronouns! None of them slipped up once!” And I just had to be like “that’s because I read as male to most people now and you still see me as a girl pretending to be a boy…”

My favorite very dumb way to perform gender is to offer to carry diaper bags or purses for burdened parents at work and then pretend like I don’t know how to carry bags normally and hold them that weird way that men who are afraid to be seen holding a purse do.

Being an adult today by singing up for an Amazon Prime trial so that I can get pee baggies delivered in time for a road trip and also skull and crossbones temporary tattoos to use as substitute nipples

Sausage, mushrooms, a pepper sautéed together and then make a lil gravy with them for your bottom layer. Cheesy mashed potatoes or cheesy grits for your top layer. Bake it all together. An over easy/medium egg on top of your portion. The perfect breakfast.

Doing a small sewing project to modify a jock strap to make my best friends packer fit more comfortably and feeling so sad that he’s about to move across the country and overall just having a very sad and trans evening

Okay being stuck back in a binder post-op for 6 whole weeks is a lot more disheartening than I expected I just want to wear slutty tank tops to show off my new Mewtwo shaped body already (I am just on day 10 of recovery 😭)

Been trying to get out of the house every day to stay somewhat active to help with recovery and today we went to the library and I accidentally timed my pain killers such that I was trippin major balls at the children’s section of the public library for a full hour 😬

Had top surgery yesterday. Everything went well except I came out of anesthesia fully feral, literally kicking and thrashing about and pretty much my only memory of this time was when the nurse told me to stop kicking because I was flashing everyone and I remember responding “they’re welcome” 🤦♂️

Went to Schlitterbahn yesterday with my family and boy is it a different experience with a toddler. Spent 6.5 hours in the park and my total ride count by the end was 2. Kiddo’s favorite part was a giant empty sand box.

Okay so I’m getting top surgery next week and my friend (who used to be a child life specialist) made the most amazing little prep book for my kiddo it’s so perfect I’m absolutely melting 😭
