I can definitely see why so many people hold Unova in such high regard, but the level curve is honestly a bit jarring at times, especially during the climax, which on that note kind of came and went a bit too fast for my taste, as cool as it was-

I'd give it a very high nine.

The Simpsons Season Five

Still not quite at the point where almost every episode is a banger to me personally, but there were a surprising amount I hadn't watched in full before, and obviously it's still a lot of fun at this point

Terrifier 2

Yeah, this one was too much, the first movie focused more on suspense with brutal killings to keep the stakes high, but this was just constant overexaggerated gore, though nothing quite as bad as 1's worst scene, I also just didn't care much for the story, so not a great experience imho

This movie has a reputation, but I didn't go into it looking for good writing, I went into it looking to get scared, and I definitely got what I wanted.

Genuinely really interesting to watch how fast the quality fell off after they hit their stride, and how long it took to get to "Yeah, I guess some of these segments are good" again

You'd think they wouldn't run out of ideas with three shorts a year

I just thought they were feeling quirky that dev cycle idk, the fact the following two generations also had unique naming schemes didn't help me go back and think about it y'know

Pokémon Legends: Z-A

I'm not quite done with the post-game, but I can tell this is one of the most solid experiences in the franchise, with honestly the single best climax in the series, and I am already looking forward to replaying it, even with the slow start it had.

They just forgot to send me the estimate.

Friday the 13th (1980)

I usually don't enjoy old movies all that much, but this one was actually pretty memorable, when there was actually something going on anyway... maybe I just wasn't expecting the gore to be so over the top in an almost half century old film-

Skipped it originally because it didn't seem to be my demo, watched it because of the upcoming Fortnite collab, thought it was good but not my demo, so here we are.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward

The pacing was a little all over the place, and the B plot seemed to get dropped in a really underwhelming way halfway through, but I still loved the story it told.... I think I just like dragons.
