I can definitely see why so many people hold Unova in such high regard, but the level curve is honestly a bit jarring at times, especially during the climax, which on that note kind of came and went a bit too fast for my taste, as cool as it was-
I'd give it a very high nine.

Still not quite at the point where almost every episode is a banger to me personally, but there were a surprising amount I hadn't watched in full before, and obviously it's still a lot of fun at this point

Yeah, this one was too much, the first movie focused more on suspense with brutal killings to keep the stakes high, but this was just constant overexaggerated gore, though nothing quite as bad as 1's worst scene, I also just didn't care much for the story, so not a great experience imho

I'm not quite done with the post-game, but I can tell this is one of the most solid experiences in the franchise, with honestly the single best climax in the series, and I am already looking forward to replaying it, even with the slow start it had.

I've decided... this movie fucking rocks. The pacing was a bit off, but who cares when the content is so consistently investing. Also the choreography and animation of those fights were unmatched, I can't wait for more in, like, 2 and 4 years' time.

Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc
The intro was pretty good and the climax went so hard, but the actual arc itself was just kind of your average training montage, with the worst parts of the series showing up constantly, I don't regret putting it off until the day before I saw Infinity Castle.

I hate when acclaimed things are actually good.
For real though, I had avoided this for years because I heard "soulslike" and thought "frustrating boss rush", but this is just a tough as nails (heh) and satisfying metroidvania
At least I didn't have to deal with the Silksong wait

The first half was a slog, not helped by getting restricted during so I had to tough it out in order to not miss any dailies, but the climax has everything come together so perfectly that I'm not sure what Chapter 4 is going to look like
