Why do we say Republicans? It's a clever linguistic trick they use for marketing. They're Republicans and Grand Old Party and then they refuse to say Democratic Party or candidates. They shorten to Democrat. @aoc.bsky.social @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social @sanders.senate.gov @booker.senate.gov

The actual silver lining of getting laid off is getting back on Medicaid. How I missed you, sweet Medicaid.

For the first time in 61 years, the Richmond County Staten Island St. Patrick’s Day Parade included local LGBTQ community groups. Great to march with my friend & colleague Kamillah Hanks. Sláinte to ALL! ☘️

Well, less than 24 hours to my vacation and I found a concerning lump on my cat. Was supposed to be daydreaming about volcanoes and auroras but I'm just praying for good news at the vet tomorrow 🙏

The wild thing about this attempted "rehiring" is that even when it isn't a fascist takeover, getting laid off SUCKS BAD like a breakup and even if the breakup was the government's idea, you probably wouldn't take them back after that.

Damn I am really loved. I missed out on an action I wanted to join a week ago because I was hungover, and tomorrow we're going to one, but tonight we enjoyed some wine with our board game. My partner poured me a quart of iced tea and said "Drink this because we're going tomorrow." 💓

Night night sweet dreamies

We often have very little empathy for our own thoughts and feelings and frequently try to suppress them by dismissing them as weaknesses.

They are valid, always 🧡

It's interesting that two of the buzziest shows of the last five years, SEVERANCE and YELLOWJACKETS, are about people trapped in a strange place, while other versions of them are not trapped and live normal lives, and cults abound.
