Liberation day is the anniversary of the day in 1945 that Canadian military liberated the Netherlands from occupation. Not a reference to the 2025 Liberation day about US tariffs

Recognizing that the US president is using this as a distraction (from what?), just a reminder that this is not the way you keep friends and allies. Today is Liberation Day in the Netherlands and Canadian veterans are there - in acts of remembrance.

Canada and Mexico have a free trade agreement with the United States that was negotiated during Trump 1.0. What makes anyone / any country think that the Trump administration will a signed agreement? That hasn't happened with Canada and Mexico - Trump chooses which parts he will follow.
