Right now, while families choose between groceries and prescriptions, Republicans are cutting the programs that help them survive. I know these programs work because they helped my family. Time to fight back. My story:

Honored to meet Senator Bob Casey, Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti, Reps Tarah Probst, Maureen Madden, and Kyle Mullins last night. Thank you Brian Wrightson for bringing us together. Building coalitions across NEPA with Democratic leaders & candidates fighting for working families.

People see who is stepping up, and who is not in this moment. Who says the right thing, who says the wrong thing, and even worse who says nothing.

If you can't step up and say in this moment, fuck what ICE is doing, support and silence are synonymous.

PA ranks 42nd for state school funding. For HD-111 $12.4 million leaves our 8 school districts every year for charter schools (96% to Cyber Charters).

Pennsylvanians Over Profits means more funding for our schools, not charter school profit.

Healthcare employs more people in our district than any other industry. Universal coverage protects these jobs with stable funding while guaranteeing care for every resident. Reps. Scott & Powell are leading this charge and when elected, I'll join them in that fight.

With almost 50,000 farms in Pennsylvania and nearly 600,000 jobs, our agriculture industry is directly tied to the success of this Commonwealth.

Growing our agriculture industry is central to building an economy that benefits everyone –including our farmers.

BREAKING: Senate Republicans just blocked the clean ACA tax credit extension that the House passed to save millions of people thousands of dollars each.

If you’re paying double or even triple for health insurance, blame Trump and the Senate GOP.

"The facts are that most people earning minimum wage in Pennsylvania cannot afford to rent here."

This is why - among other urgent needs - Senate Republicans need to stop blocking a raise to PA's minimum wage.

Adriana E. Ramírez: The minimum wage is just not enough to live on
At Pennsylvania’s minimum wage of $7.25 per hour, someone working 40 hours a week will take home about $1,024 a month after taxes but before deductions...

PA has too many vacancies in our child care workforce, forcing programs to reduce capacity and making it harder for parents to find care.

That’s why we’ve directed $25 million to child care recruitment and retention bonuses so that workers are paid better and more children can receive care.

@aftynbehn.bsky.social's race shows us something critical: when national attention creates an opening, we can't just run AGAINST an administration, we have to use that moment to show people what we're FOR. Real policy that tackles affordability, accountability, and a rigged system.

Five of six states bordering Pennsylvania have legalized Marijuana. Hundreds of millions in tax dollars cross state lines annually.

I'll fight for Pennsylvania craft cannabis, local ownership, local profits. Not mega-corporations or state monopolies.

Black Friday doesn't have to mean big box stores. PA's 1 million small businesses form 99% of our business economy. This weekend, let's put Pennsylvanians over profits. Support your local shops, they're the backbone of our community.

When does someone stop being a criminal?

This excellent TEDx talk by @the305mvp.bsky.social asks this question. PA's 47% recidivism rate is a policy failure, not a people failure.

I'll fight to expand PA's Clean Slate act & give people real second chances.

When you hear politicians attacking SNAP, remember:

80% of SNAP-authorized stores are SMALL, LOCAL businesses. In PA, SNAP generates $474M in grocery wages & supports 12,000 jobs.

Cutting SNAP doesn't just hurt families, it closes our local grocery stores.
