Turned some extra cards from my trade binder into one cool card. The specific nostalgia for an era of comics a couple of my older cousins had that sparked my interest in comics is strong.

Originally I wanted to run a bunch of the Feign Death type cards to reset the dragons I cast from the graveyard with Rivaz. Thinking about it 3 years later I would rather just use Rivaz for letting me jump from 3 to 6 mana and use the good reanimation effects to bring things back.

Every time someone talks about this Toph it's something that doesn't work or requires 15 mana and your commander/artifact making to the end of turn trigger without catching a removal spell for the most telegraphed villain shit.

I really like The Spot, but the social dynamic of 3 players all deciding their cards are the most likely to get sent to exile forever is tough and it warps the games around him before he is even cast. Ran some games with Mister Negative and he's cool, but I wish I could make The Spot work still.

I could list off like 30 cards pretty easily, but my top 4 are:
Behold the Sinister Six! - The cost to bodies ratio feels so low. Doesn't self exile.
Venom - My favorite deck from this year.
Knuckles - Face Breaker with more keywords is cool.
Ouroboroid - Wurm with cool "number go up" text.

I know it's decent amount of mana, but it is kinda wild that Venom gives me a new hand of cards while letting me cheat something in. Even turning a Wood Elf into 3 cards and an extra land has been pretty cool.

I think these big creatures are a trap in the Venom lists I keep seeing. The idea of dropping in big stuff is neat, but having big idiots that kinda suck if Venom isn't on the board sounds less good. #edh #commander

I keep thinking about Kalemne with Evoke/Warp Creatures and blink to keep them around and also some Airbending to get cheap recasts.

I don't think I have ever been lower on Living Death in "fair" decks. In BR Goblins where it's game ending to resolve it's S tier. In a more midrange Jund reanimator list it's too much work to play around other people getting things back.

So far my favorite play in the Venom Danse list is to Will of the Abzan in Dusk Mangler, feed Mangler to Venom to draw 7 and put in a Pinnacle Monk (or Witness), and have Will back in hand to go again. Losing 7 life, 2 creatures, and a card from hand is a brutal loop to get people in.

@moxfield.com why is there still an asterisk on my bracket now that it's street legal in 3 again? I tried changing to see if that would fix it, but it's still there.

I keep praying for the day NL forgets to do Swanke % and we are finally free. It went from funny to unfunny and then back to funny again and at this point it will never be funny again I fear.😔

I'm more concerned the average player will use their newly freed up Game Changer slots to add more unsavory cards to their decks than anything to do with Hybrid mana tbh.
