Yakuza fans seem to have this consensus that Judge Eyes has a better story than Lost Judgement but idk if I 100% agree? I would say Judge Eyes had a better structured story, but Lost Judgement had far more interesting themes that get muddied by the story trying to be too big.

Part of me thinks Pirate Yakuza is setting up for the next Judgement game to also be in Hawaii. There's no way they paid so much to get the devs to study Honolulu and not reuse that 3D model asset a million times over

Finished Pirate Yakuza. Overall an extremely fun game especially when you engage with all of the side pirate stuff, but also you walk away with the impression that RGG really wants to make a Musou game
