Remember: Trust in democracy is not lost overnight. It is eroded w/ every denied application, delayed payment and political decision that penalizes those who work hard & play by the rules. When a democracy fails to meet even the most basic needs, citizens don’t believe that democracy works for them.

Ending SNAP payments isn’t just cruel — it violates international human rights standards. Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights guarantees everyone the right to an adequate standard of living, including food. ⬇️
