And finally, the r/conlangs prompt was "Ivory". #Lasat #Lexember

The conworkshop prompt today was "Logical relations". I'm not a mathematician or a logician, but I did come up with:
enklehter /en.kle:.teɹ/ v. to explain, justify
from enkleht /en.kle:t/ n and conj. because (of), reason, justification

And finally, Miles of Let's Have a Bouba @letshaveabouba.bsky.social 's prompt, "A means of construction"! I thought I didn't have any ideas for this one. I was wrong. #Lasat #Lexember

Next up, the r/conlang prompt was "Bone". #Lasat #Lexember
December 14, 2025 at 9:55 PM
And finally, the r/conlangs prompt today was "Horn". I swear, the #Lasat words for this one are relevant, I just have a lot of words related to this concept already... #Lexember

Conworkshop's prompt for today was "Midsummer words". I already have a word for summer in #Lasat, imyal, but I think dust season is a little different, perhaps encompassing parts of what we'd consider autumn and spring as well. #Lexember

And for r/conlangs, the prompt was "organic gems". So for #Lasat #Lexember we have:
paschel /pas.t͡ʃel/ n. petrified wood
from pasol /pa.sol/ n. wood, timber and chelo /t͡ʃe.lo/ n. earth
December 13, 2025 at 12:28 AM
Today's conworkshop prompt was "Midwinter words". This is what I added for #Lasat #Lexember:
bazromai /baz.ɹo.mai/ v. to hail, to sleet
from bazim /ba.zim/ n. ice and romai /ɹo.mai/ v. to rain
December 13, 2025 at 12:14 AM
And finally, the r/conlangs prompt was "Inorganic gems". FUn fact, in #Lasat the word for purple, satyan, comes from the word for person, sat, as Lasat speakers most commonly have purpleish fur. So amethyst is a "person-coloured rock". #Lexember

The Conworkshop prompt for today was "things found between cushions". Here's my two for #Lasat #Lexember:
bestim /be.stim/ n. sewing needle, knitting needle
from bemdist /bem.dist/ n. thorn and dimpa /dim.pa/ to sew
durfres /duɹ.fɹes/ n. key
from durfa /duɹ.fa/ v. to open and ires /i.ɹes/ n. thing
December 11, 2025 at 10:21 PM
Finally, the r/conlangs #Lexember prompt is "semi-precious stones". Chluga is pretty badass, tbh. Also, fellow Star Wars nerds (or people who've been near me in the last, like, 3 or 4 years) can probably guess where the word for "gold" comes from in #Lasat....
December 10, 2025 at 11:51 PM
The Conworkshop #Lexember prompt of the day was themeless, so I decided to go ahead and add:
bemdist /bem.dist/ n. thorn, stinger
From bem /bem/ n. leaf and odist /o.dist/ n. knife, blade
Which seems to follow on logically from "horn" and "spike" from the animal weapon prompt.
December 10, 2025 at 11:11 PM
And finally, #Lasat words filling the r/conlangs #Lexember prompt "Salt". I've done a lot of words today, phew!
December 9, 2025 at 1:38 PM
Today's Conworkshop prompt for #Lexember was "It's all fun and games". Of course, making #Lasat words is fun in and of itself... :3
December 9, 2025 at 1:05 PM
...and 2 new coinings, for the same prompt "insect parts".
Nazbem /naz.bem/ n. mandible, palps; any insect mouth part
From nazam /na.zam/ n. mouth and bem /bem/ n. leaf
Tevbem /tev.bem/ n. Antenna, feeler
From tev /tev/ n. head and bem (see above). #Lasat #Lexember (2/2)
December 9, 2025 at 11:52 AM
Finally, the r/conlangs prompt "Stone" for #Lasat #Lexember:
dhaga /ða.ga/ v. to chisel, carve, or sculpt (stone or wood)
from dhawlir /ðo:.liɹ/ v. to make, build, or shape and gara /ga.ɹa/ n. rock, stone
dhagres /ða.gɹes/ n. chisel, carving tool
from dhaga (above) and ires /i.ɹes/ n. object, thing

A lot of #Lasat words for today's Conworkshop #Lexember prompt "Doubt, uncertainty, and hesitation". I certainly didn't hesitate to go nuts with this one XD
