i was interested in revolutionary history at the time, so went to this hall which, if i remember correctly, was the headquarters of the ccp in chongqing. interest in that era was low in the mid-90s, so i was rarely bothered when visiting these places. got someone to take a photo of me there, tho.

running into kids busking wasn't such an uncommon site -- tho bystanders found the random young foreigner taking photos was more interesting than the music

last night my instagram feed pushed a few posts on the cyberpunk city of chongqing. got me thinking it was quite different 30 years ago when i arrived by train from kunming.

i came back on twitter during the election mostly to see where liberal/left politicians were campaigning, but after the election it started putting kamiya in my notifications, where I got this from him a few days after the election (seemingly telling me) to be careful. I'm out again.

just leaving obihiro and heading back to the "naichi". this was my second time in obihiro. the first time was about 7 years ago, and all i pretty much did and remember that time was watching the banei horse races. i did also spend a day doing that this time as well.
