This might be one of my favorite Gundam covers just on a practical level. It's so simple, but gives such a good sense of scale.

It's main draw (and where most of the price comes from) is the amount of diecast in it, which feels like an absurd amount compared to most Chogokins.

I took a serious gamble on an order from Japan as I found these for relatively cheap compared to what I had been seeing the last couple years. It's not all of them, but to get all but 2 volumes for around 50 is amazing!

4 of 7 Gundam Mechanics books completely scanned and loosely cleaned up.
Pretty close to a year since I started and subsequently abandoned this scan project, hopefully I can get it done before the actual 1-year mark.

This series somehow ended up both far more tragic and yet somehow more hopeful compared to the game's original story. I think Ending E will always be the most impactful thing I'd ever experienced in a game, but I'll be damned if this ending didn't make me misty-eyed.

It's gonna be hard to take good pics of this in our current sea of boxes, but I'm gonna be selling off this piece in the coming days. I'm hoping to sell the remainder of what's on my Ko-fi shop, but I think this one will be a good focal point...
