I laughed aloud when I read: "From baroque aristocracies of abstract factory providers to the reactive revolution." :)

The Commodore 64 is making a comeback. I was curious about how these games were developed back then. I didn't realize it was mostly done in assembly. I started developing my first Commodore 64 game with no intention of finishing it. :)

I think Anthropic’s new usage update message is a little cryptic:

> We've increased your limits and removed the Opus cap, so you can use Opus 4.5 up to your overall limit. Sonnet now has its own
limit—it's set to match your previous overall limit, so you can use just as much as before.

I just asked Claude Code / Opus 4.5 to split my bounded context into two. I could do it myself, but it is just a chore. On the other hand, I am a little worried I am using a lot of GPU for refactoring.

Dear Lawmakers,

I appreciate my local public radio station’s services. However, the expiration of federal funding will greatly affect us. Most public radio stations are locally owned and provide crucial localized content and services. Please protect and preserve these stations.

I am building something great, and it needs a REST API. The service won't demand that much performance, but I would love to engineer a state-of-the-art service.

The consultant in me says TypeScript, the engineer in me says Rust. That is the dilemma.

What do you think?

If you want to use DayOne MCP, you will need to disable password protection. It took me a while to figure out. Finally, when I tried `dayone mcp` on the console, I realized the issue.

> TypeScript is now the most used language on GitHub. In August 2025, TypeScript overtook both Python and JavaScript. Its rise illustrates how developers are shifting toward typed languages that make agent-assisted coding more reliable in production.

We are finally making a svelte skill for claude (and turning the repo into a claude marketplace so you can install the MCP and the skill with two commands).

Please check out this PR, there's a zip file with the skill that you can download..try the skill without the MCP and report if it works! 🧡
feat: claude skill + marketplace by paoloricciuti · Pull Request #110 · sveltejs/mcp
This adds a svelte 5 skill that you can download manually to put in Claude code OR Claude desktop/web, but also makes this repo a Claude marketplace/plugin. This will ease the experience of sharing...
