I have no idea how I first found this video years ago, but it's been in my head ever since and now it's finally timely to share it

Not every game will ultimately sell out. They'll milk as much as they can out of fans in these early phases before people realize later which games they could've gotten cheaper if they waited. It's so unfriendly to fans. Thank you for coming to my ticket talk.

On top of the hassle of actually using the system, the whole thing seems designed to force you to splurge on tickets you might not have bought if you knew the true availability or if you knew the prices couldn't arbitrarily change whenever FIFA wants. (4/5)

The worst part is not knowing if those prices are actually worth it. Will they release more Category 3/4 tix in a later phase? Will a certain game get more or less expensive after we know the matchup? There's no way to know. (3/5)

After another 30 min queue to get back in, the selection was even more scarce. Nothing under $310 for any game, most games much more than that. (2/5)
