Well, piece of cake for Brady in his day, but here, the sheer improbability - scrambling, improvising, running out of time, &sideline, &downs, lucky bounces, off balance heaves, and at the end, pure perfection for the win - makes this one for history.

Good luck, you have 30 seconds!

Next:
Trump-Reagan International Airport (for safety measures - now the safest airport in the world)
The Trump-Washington Monument
The Trump-United States Institute for Peace (oh, did that already)
The Trump-Smithsonian Institution (in honor his restoration of true history instead of woke history)

Perhaps the cheapest, least informed, dismissive (as a leading comment described it) column I've ever seen from Brooks. Who knows what other interests he may have in all this - at least that would be an excuse. Otherwise, return asap to your irrelevant slumber, David.

Only the Ickey shuffle will be permitted as a celebration after a touchdown.

And so the insured pool will get sicker - driving the costs even higher next year. The thing is unsustainable either way - no one can afford to pay it, and the government can't afford to subsidize it down to a reasonable level. But don't think "Medicare for all" solves the problem by itself.
December 18, 2025 at 5:47 PM
Well that's the entire model, isn't it? Using the levers of government to reward friends/supporters on the one hand, to extort money and compliance from the resistant, and to punish one's opponents with every fiscal and legal weapon available, assuming unlimited powers to carry it all out.

Wait, I thought this was all about NATO encroachment and security guarantees for Russia. (\s) Why are they (US) still after concessions from Ukraine when even Putin is clear that their unalterable goal to restore Imperial Russia.

"You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall -- you need me on that wall."

Nailed it. Similar to Sissy Spacek in "Missing" where a diplomat quietly explains that her good life in America depends on dark things being done by the US.

Expropriation of oil fields:
"...Chávez ordered the expropriation of ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips’ assets in 2007."
Must be what Trump is rambling on about there.
December 17, 2025 at 1:44 AM
NPR I think had a story relating the expropriation/nationalization of oil fields when Hugo Chavez became president.

As if there are not minimum standards for car insurance. And is anyone happy the cost of car insurance is so reasonable? Finally, let us translate: "Choices for lower cost products" = unregulated junk insurance for everyone! Shut up you monster.

Susie Wiles, the eminence grise, the power behind the throne. And we should take this/her seriously why? Certainly her thoughts on the cabinet, evidently delivered with some satisfaction, suggest otherwise. Maybe alarm is more appropriate, now that she's opened her mouth and removed any doubt.

Well, try to make a little joke and you get #BlueSkied (or whatever they call ratioed here) for your troubles. My little anecdote: me with maps vs. my daughter with smartphone, early 2000's, navigating LA freeways. "Rerouting", "rerouting" from the back seat. John Henry vs. steam engine. Sorry dad.
