Found out today that the word "parkade" is just a Canadian term. It's what we call a parking garage. I know there are lots of Canadianisms (like "double double") but was surprised about "parkade".
Any other Canadian terms you've been surprised to learn are just used in Canada?

We were booked at Sonder Hotel for PAXU. Sounds like the hotel defaulted on payments to Marriot, and the hotel shut down.
We had 9 rooms booked - for a total of 39 nights. Now what the heck are we supposed to do?!? Marriot is not helping.
This is going to be expensive.

We have a new game called Wrexham-Opoly. Yep... you guessed it... it's a property trading game celebrating the Welsh city of Wrexham.
Fun fact! We just shipped our first copy. Where? Not to a store in the UK, but to a retailer by the name of House of Books & Games located in Windsor, Connecticut.
