And I'm honestly wondering if TTRPGs just aren't for me, but I think it's scary to think about because nothing really fills that void of being obsessed with my characters the same way. What will I even do with myself if I retire from TTRPGs? It's the only social hobby I have.

Sometimes I get invited to groups with all people I like and I feel shy and realize everyone there is closer friends to each other than to me. Right now, I'm mostly playing with strangers and it's difficult because I often feel like I don't get to do what I want in the game.
