It will certainly be part of the process but not the entire process. Take, for example doing things like automatic tint masking knockouts for materials, or packing UV things or auto rigging improvements etc and that's just on the art side. There's tedium that you can and has already been automated

In the future, you'll need to hire just as many people to fix or alter GenAI results as you would have needed to make it. The same grunt work that needed to be double checked by a senior will still need to be checked. Lax attitudes will create poor outcomes as usual.

There is so much one could say about this survey but the fact that 19% of 910 surveyed Gen Alphas said they aspire to be a game developer is staggering imo.
It’s incredible considering I didn’t even know “game developer” was a job that existed when I was 12.
