HAPPY FEET. She confused Footloose and Happy Feet. 😱 To be fair she’s never seen either of them, far as I know. (She weirdly doesn’t like movies?) But I did need a moment to recover.

In it the word “footloose” is used, and the teen echoes “Footloose!” like any good Kenny Loggins fan. Takes a beat, then says “Isn’t that a movie about dancing penguins?”

I didn't realize until I was gathering links that I bought yarn from 6 different states today (yeah, I went a little overboard, but that's my Christmas gifts to myself sorted). I know that's a big expense and not something everyone can/should do, but even buying 1 skein makes a difference.

I was thinking fix a wrong twist in a cable without frogging, grafting/seaming, pick up stitches properly and knit a button band. There are so many legitimate options that would show their skill!

Ugh. I knew they would have to use big yarn because of the time but like who would even want a chunky tank top? (Tom Daley, I guess, he seems to make a lot of them.(
